Forza Horizon 6 is now available on Xbox Series X|S and PC, with access through the Microsoft Store and Steam. The game is also available through selected Xbox Game Pass plans, while a PlayStation 5 version is planned for later release.

Developed by Playground Games and published by Xbox Game Studios, Forza Horizon 6 continues the popular open-world racing series. This time, the Horizon Festival moves to Japan, a location that fans have requested for many years. Xbox first confirmed the Japan setting during the Tokyo Game Show 2025 Broadcast.

Forza Support states that the Standard and Deluxe Editions were released on 19 May 2026, while Premium Edition players received early access from 15 May 2026. Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members can access the Standard Edition at no extra cost on launch day.

For racing fans, the biggest attraction is likely the combination of fast cars, open-world freedom and Japan’s visual style. The game is designed for both casual players who enjoy driving and exploration, and more serious players who want racing events, collection progress and online play.
